Summary

Leilani Li is waiting on Casey Calvert, her blind date, to come get her. Casey's tardiness has enraged Leilani. Casey doesn't apologize for being late and hardly glances up from her phone when she does arrive. Leilani appears to be considering canceling the date since she is so shocked by the lack of civility. Leilani, on the other hand, asks hesitantly what restaurant they're heading to. When Casey mentions the restaurant's name, Leilani appears to be unhappy with her selection. It's Casey's turn to appear annoyed now, believing Leilani to be a snob. Even though neither of them appears really excited about the date, they yet decide to go forward. When they return after the date, it's been some time, and the atmosphere is totally altered. As it happens, they really get along well and had a great time. Casey explains that she's been under a lot of stress and apologizes for being late and preoccupied earlier. Leilani says she's sorry if she came across as a snob and explains that her ex used to take her to this restaurant. Rather than calling off the date based on unfavorable initial impressions, they're both glad they gave it a shot. After clearing the air about their miscommunications, they have a great idea to make the date even better!
